Creative Director

Katrina has over two decades experience within the creative and UX sectors. With a pioneering spirit and tenacity in championing projects which connect consumers to brands in powerful and unique ways across multiple screens and devices, Howell currently oversees creative outputs across all Clarity clients.

Previously working as Creative Director at Red Bee Creative for over a decade, Howell enjoys being both a mentor and motivator, whilst still a hands-on conceptual and design practitioner. Howell put this into practice during her time at Red Academy, spending two years leading and developing the UX Design programme. 

Howell has previously worked on clients including BBC product portfolio, UKTV, FOX Networks, Nissan, HSBC, Shell and Vodafone, having held roles at Concept!AG, part of Ogilvy Interactive Network and Rmg:connect, part of JWT London. She’s been part of award-winning teams over the years, including recipients of Cannes Lions, Clio’s, Webby awards, NMA, IAB and Promax BDA.

Howell feels strongly about the lack of female creative directors in the industry and wants to empower younger women in her field. Working to meet this objective she has helped develop the key soft skills of others in order to meet the high demands of the industry, alongside setting up the right conditions to unleash creativity.
