When is the closing date for entries?

The closing date for entries is Friday 23rd May 2008

Who Can Enter?

The Chip Shop Awards are open to entrants from the UK as well as internationally and Students.

How do I enter?

Step 1 - REGISTER

Step 2 - Upload your entries

Step 3 - Go to Check Out and move to payment.

Step 4 - Post your entiries to The Chip Shop Awards, 4th Floor, Mercat Building, 26 Gallowgate, G1 GAB, enclose a summary entry form and attach an individual entry form to the back of each entry.

After Step 4 your entries are ready to be judged.  Once entries are received and payment is authorised confirmation will be sent to you via email and your invoice will be sent by post.

What is the cost of entering?

Each individual entry is £85 + VAT

For students the cost to enter is £50 + VAT

Please note: one advert is classed as one entry unless it is being entered into the Campaign Category. Therefore each advert is priced at £85 + VAT and must be entered as separate entries

Can I enter offline?

Yes, download a call for entry form the website or email katy.thomson@carnyx.com for one to be posted out to you.

What are the submission formats?

SUBMISSION FORMATS

TV; DVD (all advertisements must be full height) or MPEG

Press; Mounted artwork (Max board size: A2) plus supplied digitally as HIGH-RES PDF on CD

Outdoor; Mounted artwork (Max board size: A2) plus supplied digitally as HIGH-RES PDF on CD

Direct Mail; Sample plus supplied digitally as HIGH-RES PDF on CD

New Media: Supplied as URL

Other: Mounted artwork (Max board size: A2) or sample, plus supplied digitally as HIGH-RES PDF on CD



Can I pay by cheque?

If you wish to pay by cheque, please make it payable to Carnyx Group Ltd.

Once you have finalised your entries go to checkout - this will transfer your entries from basket to account. 

Send your cheque and your account will be marked paid by the organiser and then be ready for judging.

How do I become a Sponsor of The Chip Shop Awards?

Various levels of sponsorship are available including category sponsorship. Sponsorship gives you the chance to actively engage with those in the creative iddustry.


Pre Event

  • Logo on all associated advertising
  • Logo on The Chip Shop Awards  website with a link to your own webpage
  • Your company profile on The Chip Shop Awards webpage
  • The opportunity to carry out your own PR in relation to the awards.


Event

  • Sponsorship of one award category
  • Opportunity to present prize of sponsorsed category
  • Company name engraved on prize of sponsored category
  • Tickets to the event
  • Branding on screen
  • Logo on tickets

Post Event

  • Logo in the post awards issue of the Drum magazines
  • Your logo, company profile and live link in archive section for 3 years.
